Node.js 18+, Python 3.10+ (for SEO analysis scripts), Claude Code installed and authenticated, and Git. The installer handles copying all 17 skills and 11 agents to your Claude Code config.

Does the Vanquish action actually commit code?

Yes! When you choose Vanquish during battle, Claude reads your project files, generates a real fix for the SEO issue, and commits it to git. Every demon you vanquish is a real improvement to your codebase.

Can I use the SEO skills without the game?

Absolutely. The 17 SEO skills work directly from Claude Code CLI. Just run claude and use commands like /seo audit, /seo technical, /seo schema, etc. The game is an optional gamified interface.

What's the difference between the character classes?

Warrior uses Claude Opus for the deepest analysis. Samurai uses Sonnet for balanced speed and depth (recommended). Knight uses Haiku for the fastest responses. The model affects every Claude invocation during gameplay.

Are there any audio files I need to download?

Zero. All 25+ sound effects are procedurally synthesized using the Web Audio API. No audio files are shipped with the project — everything is generated in real-time.

How the Bridge Works

The game doesn't call the Claude API directly. Instead, the Phaser.js game sends commands over WebSocket to a bridge server running on port 3001. The bridge spawns Claude Code CLI processes with your selected model. Claude Code loads the SEO skills from your local config directory and runs the audit or fix. Results stream back through WebSocket to the game in real-time, where the Guild Ledger displays every tool call, file read, and decision Claude makes.
